Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior bridge engineering leader to oversee inspections and structural evaluations across Illinois from Peoria. This role combines hands‑on field work with technical leadership, directing a specialized inspection team to deliver high-quality reports and analyses.

The position requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, significant bridge inspection experience, and an active PE/SE license. Travel to sites is expected as part of project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Illinois bridge inspection team leader designation or applicable qualifications.
• Experience with IDOT bridge inspection projects and procedures.
• Familiarity with NBIS requirements and FHWA bridge inspection standards.
• Experience with bridge load ratings, structural analysis, and rehabilitation recommendations.
• Experience managing inspection teams, project schedules, and client deliverables.
