Job summary

Links Technology Solutions is seeking a Structural Engineer III to design, analyze, and certify advanced structural systems for mission payloads and space exploration platforms in Plano, TX. You will assess complex metallic and composite structures across the full product lifecycle in a dynamic engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant experience with strong engineering principles.
• Proficiency with CAE tools and FEA software (MSC Patran, Nastran, FEMAP, ANSYS).
• Experience in static/dynamic analyses, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses.
• Classical structural analysis using hand calculations and substantiation reports.
• Aerospace/Defense industry background; ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and certify cutting-edge products and services for payloads and space systems.
• Examine complex metallic and composite structures and systems.
• Participate in design and development across full product lifecycle.
• Perform physical duties including walking, sitting, standing, and climbing stairs/steps.
