Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Plano, TX team. You will design, analyze, test, and certify advanced metallic and composite aerospace structures, applying FEA and simulation tools to meet stringent performance and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop robust structural solutions and support the complete engineering lifecycle from concept through documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Experience performing static structural analyses.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and engineering simulation tools.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and analysis of advanced metallic and composite structures.
• Perform detailed static analyses to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
• Apply FEA and engineering simulation tools to complex structural challenges.
• Develop and review structural drawings, reports, and test documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate designs into systems.
• Support structural test plans and regulatory compliance.
