NW Recruiting Partners in Seattle seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to design structural systems and lead projects across building and infrastructure facilities in the Pacific Northwest.

You will prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications, while collaborating with civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams. The role involves client coordination, design reviews, and occasional site visits to verify conditions and support construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with active SE license.
• Minimum 5 years in structural design across steel, concrete, masonry, and precast.
• Proficient in RISA-3D and RAM Structural System; AutoCAD & Revit knowledge.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and client coordination.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for site visits and construction observation.
• Preferred: additional state licenses, project management experience, and knowledge of fee proposals and RFPs.

Join a collaborative engineering team delivering diverse infrastructure and transportation projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll apply your technical expertise to develop safe, efficient structural solutions for new and existing facilities.

Working alongside professionals in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, and architecture, you'll contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design and analysis to construction administration. This role also offers opportunities to strengthen client relationships, lead project efforts, and expand your technical and management skills.

Senior Structural Engineer Qualifications

• Proficiency in RISA-3D and/or RAM Structural System, plus working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and client coordination skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for site visits, meetings, and construction observation.
• Preferred: Additional state licenses, project management experience, and knowledge of fee proposals and RFPs.
