Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline is required
10+ years of structural engineering experience including experience supporting heavy industrial and manufacturing facilities.
Experience leading multidisciplinary structural projects and directing teams of engineers and designers
Active Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable building codes and structural standards including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, AISI, AWS D1.1, MBMA, SDI, and SJI.
Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, RISA, TEDDS, and spMats
Experience evaluating and modifying existing structures and facilities
Experience preparing and reviewing structural calculations, specifications, drawings, and construction documents
Experience developing structural engineering scope, labor‑hour estimates, schedules, and budgets
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, project managers, technical staff, and other project disciplines
Ability to perform field/site visits
Ability to travel up to 10% as required
Experience evaluating, modifying, and expanding operating industrial and manufacturing facilities.
Master's degree in Structural Engineering
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revu
