Trillium Staffing in Pittsburgh seeks a Structural Engineer PE to lead a small team and deliver high-quality designs for a diverse client portfolio.

You will stamp plans, review drawings, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with PMs, designers, and contractors to drive project success. This is a Direct-Hire, hybrid role with in-office 3 days/week and a starting salary around $140,000+ DOE.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 5–10+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; experience with RAM Structural Systems, Enercalc, STAADPro.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering and design efforts for a variety of projects.
• Prepare, review, and approve structural designs and construction documents.
• Stamp approved engineering plans as Engineer of Record.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to deliver high-quality design solutions.
• Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop project specifications and provide technical support to project management teams.
• Review shop drawings and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing conditions and support project execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.
• Represent the company at meetings, presentations, and project reviews.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff.

This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer with their PE to lead a small team of engineers. Schedule is1st Shift / Monday - Friday / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This is a hybrid opportunity / In office 3 days per week. Annual salary is $140,000+,DOE.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with 5-10+ years of structural engineering experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and applicable building codes and design standards
• Experience designing and detailing steel, wood, concrete, and masonry structures
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and construction documents
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience with structural analysis and design software including RAM Structural Systems, Enercalc, and STAADPro
• Ability to develop project specifications and review technical documentation
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with a passion for engineering excellence and mentoring others
