Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven structural/civil design experience in oil and gas.
• Professional Engineer willing to get licensed in multiple states.
• Experience in creation and reviewing structural design and construction documents.
• BSCE degree from ABET-accredited program.
• Working knowledge of IBC, ACI, ASCE, ASTM, etc.
• Familiarity with structural modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Design a facility from concept to completion with minimal oversight.
• Make decisions to push projects forward using sound engineering judgment.
• Apply concrete design and steel framing knowledge where applicable.
• Assist with building design and platform design.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communications.
• Collaborate with O&G teams to meet project goals.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious project manager to help our growing company. The engineer should have 6+ years of experience in industrial and energy markets, and be ready to hit the ground running with engineering design for both greenfield and brownfield projects. We expect the engineer to be able to provide both design and engineering services. We are willing to hire both an engineer and a designer if the engineer has previous experience with a designer that they would like to work with moving forward. Job description below.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer should be able to fully design a facility by themselves with little to no oversight.
• Will demonstrate the ability to make decisions to push projects with sound engineering judgment.
• Should have significant experience with concrete, and the ability to do structural steel is a plus.
• Should have experience in building design, and platforms, etc.
• Has good communications skills and can build relationships with clients.
• Should have good working relationships in the O&G markets.

Needs:

• Minimum of 6 years of proven structural / civil engineering design experience in oil and gas
• Professional Engineer willing to get licensed in multiple states.
• Experience in creation and reviewing structural design, and construction documents.
