Job summary

ISG Consultants is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a full-time role in the New York City area. The candidate will lead structural design, analysis, and construction administration for large concrete buildings, reporting to Partners and PMs.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 3–15 years of structural engineering experience, specifically in concrete structures. A Professional Engineer license is a plus and is highly valued by the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited engineering program.
• 3-15 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience working on structural concrete buildings.
• Professional Engineering License is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop project designs.
• Assist in project management tasks such as coordination of internal and external comments and to-do items.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and reports using software like AutoCAD and Revit.
• Review construction plans for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Ensure projects comply with local building codes and regulations.
• During the construction phase, assist with review of submittals and RFI’s.
• Visit the construction site as required.

Full Time Senior Structural Engineer $80,000 -$120,000

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineerwith a strong concrete structural backgroundto be a part of the multi-billion dollar Borough Based Jail Program located in the New York City area. The Structural Engineer will work under the direction of the Partners and Project Managers in engineering design, structural analysis, and construction administration for a new concrete building.

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop project designs.
• Assist in project management tasks such as coordination of internal and external comments and to-do items.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and reports using software like AutoCAD and Revit.
