Job summary

IslandSearch Group, Inc. D/B/A ISG Consultants in the New York City area seeks a Junior Structural Engineer to contribute to the multi-billion dollar Borough Based Jail Program.

You will assist in engineering design, analysis, and construction administration for a new concrete building. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering and 0-5 years of structural experience, with internship exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited engineering program.
• 0-5 years of experience in structural engineering plus at least one relevant summer internship.
• Experience working on structural concrete buildings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and reports using AutoCAD and Revit.
• During the construction phase, review submittals and RFIs.
• Visit the construction site as required.

We are seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to be a part of the multi-billion dollar Borough Based Jail Program located in the New York City area. The Structural Engineer will work under the direction of the Partners and Project Managers in engineering design, structural analysis, and construction administration for a new concrete building.

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and reports using software like AutoCAD and Revit.
• During the construction phase, review submittals and RFI’s.
• Visit the construction site as required.
