Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Boston to lead gravity and lateral design for steel, concrete, and mass timber projects. You will drive project delivery, mentor teammates, and leverage BIM and performance-based seismic approaches.
The role requires a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and a passion for sustainable design, working within a multi-disciplinary team in a hybrid setup.
You’re not interested in “typical” projects. You want complex, ground-breaking buildings in the US and around the world – and the freedom to push structural design further.
In this Senior Structural Engineer role, you’ll take the lead on gravity and lateral systems for innovative steel, concrete, and mass timber structures, collaborating closely with a multi-discipline team.
You’ll own detailed design, drive project delivery, and mentor others – while working with performance-based seismic design, advanced analysis tools, and BIM.
If you’re a creative structural engineer with strong communication skills and a passion for sustainability, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Be Doing
What We're Looking For
The Experience That Will Really Get Our Attention
You’ve been the go-to structural engineer on challenging building projects, where seismic performance, innovative materials, and architectural ambition all had to coexist. You know how to translate a bold concept into a robust, buildable structural system.
You’re comfortable in 3D analysis environments, live inside BIM, and you’re excited by performance-based seismic design and devices like base isolation and dampers. Sustainability isn’t a buzzword to you – it’s a design driver.
Why This Opportunity?
Work on a portfolio of truly ground-breaking projects – not just locally, but across the US and globally – and see your designs become part of the built environment people recognize.
Join a collaborative, multi-discipline environment where communication, curiosity, and inclusive thinking are core to how projects get delivered.
Access wide-ranging learning and development opportunities, a generous benefits package, annual discretionary bonus potential, PTO and paid holidays, 401k with company match, hybrid working (minimum 3 days/week in office), summer hours, and reimbursement for certain professional licenses, renewals, and exam fees.
