Qualifikationen

• Licensed Structural Engineer (PE); SE designation a plus but not required.
• 10+ years of post‑graduation experience from an accredited university.
• Extensive design experience with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Strong understanding of building codes and value engineering practices.
• Strong technical expertise in design, documentation, QA, and cross‑discipline coordination.
• Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, Revit, and industry standard software; Enercalc and RISA preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and delegation abilities.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and maintenance of structural design, drafting, and documentation standards.
• Monitor design sequencing, QA processes, peer reviews, and construction feedback to ensure excellence.
• Serve as primary technical resource and final authority for structural engineering matters.
• Identify mentorship and continuing education opportunities for the structural team.
• Evaluate structural engineering candidates and assess technical competency and fit.
• Provide guidance on technical design and drafting challenges and develop solutions.
• Collaborate with other Discipline Leads to establish cross‑discipline quality standards.
• Independently lead structural design staff through design and construction phases.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team to develop structural concepts, drawings, and specs.
• Respond to contractors during construction.
