Job summary

Turnkey Processing Solutions (a subsidiary of AEP Manufacturing Administrative Services, LLC) seeks a Structural Steel Detailing Manager to lead the detailing department from award through fabrication release. You will manage SDS2 modeling, coordinate with engineering, project management, fabrication, and customers, and drive quality, accuracy, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Construction Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years structural steel detailing experience; 3+ years in a lead role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural steel detailing department and oversee Detailer levels.
• Plan workloads, establish standards, and track performance metrics.
• Mentor detailing staff and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee SDS2 models, shop drawings, and fabrication packages.
• Coordinate with project teams, fabrication, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with AISC and project specifications.
