Job summary

BRPH is seeking a Drafter/Designer II to design and draft detailed models using REVIT and AutoCAD. You will develop plans, elevations, isometrics, and sections for multiple project stages in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years drafting experience and a high school diploma with drafting coursework; CAD certification or a related BS degree can adjust requirements accordingly. Melbourne, FL serves as the base location with great access to local facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED) with 2 years drafting courses using AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
• 5 years minimum drafting/designer experience; CAD certification can reduce experience.
• BS degree can substitute for both education and experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review rough sketches, drawings, specs and other engineering data.
• Develop final drawings from verbal instructions and rough sketches.
• Prepare minor design calculations and apply fundamentals.
• Lead in producing plans, elevations, sections and associated drawings.
• Coordinate models and drawings with other disciplines and BIM coordinators.
• Ensure adherence to BRPH standards and BIM practices.
