Job summary

Above Group, Inc. is seeking a Structural Designer I to support the Engineering team in Melbourne, FL. You will develop CAD drawings, perform calculations, and help set design criteria for projects in accordance with codes and client standards.

The role requires strong AutoCAD and Revit skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and with a team to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of healthcare engineering preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review current building codes and applicable standards.
• Create CAD drawings and calculations under engineer direction.
• Develop design criteria and systems from concept to construction.
• Coordinate with engineers to translate vision into drawings.
• Maintain communication with engineers and managers on timelines.
• Collaborate with team on layout of distribution systems and equipment.
