Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Level Structural Designer to advance design concepts and deliver 2D/3D outputs within a hybrid Tempe, AZ environment. You will lead 3D models, guide multi-disciplinary coordination, and ensure constructible drawings that meet client standards and project schedules.

You will apply your advanced CAD/BIM skills in semiconductor-related manufacturing contexts, mentor teammates, and drive quality across the scope while collaborating with engineers and trades for issue-ready

Qualifications

• Formal CAD drafting and design capability with leadership potential.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline design efforts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving in team environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3D structural modeling across scope.
• Produce coordinated drawing sets for constructability.
• Enforce department/client standards on models and docs.
• Own assigned scope and manage schedule/quality across contributors.
• Coordinate with engineers to resolve design and constructability issues.
• Lead multi-contributor scope across areas and packages.
• Ensure alignment, progress, and timely delivery across teams.
• Oversee reviews and ensure readiness for issue.
