Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Level Structural Designer to join our Portland-area team. You will develop design concepts and deliver 2D/3D drawings, building on internal standards and client requirements for semiconductor manufacturing and other industrial facilities.

You will lead multi-disciplinary coordination, manage scope and schedule, and ensure quality and constructability across deliverables. The role requires strong leadership, Revit proficiency, and the ability to operate in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 10 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• Minimum of 5 years Revit experience.
• Excellent interpersonal leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and coordination of 3D structural models across assigned scope.
• Produce complete, coordinated drawing sets across assigned scope, including multi-contributor work.
• Ensure consistent application of department and client standards across models and documents.
• Own assigned scope, coordinate, schedule, and ensure quality across contributed work.
• Maintain accountability for quality and constructability of deliverables produced by others.
• Coordinate with engineers to resolve design, documentation, and constructability issues.
• Lead coordination across projects, areas, or workstreams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.
