Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Structural Design Technician to support the Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will develop and update structural drawings and BIM models, coordinating with engineers and project teams on foundations, framing, equipment support and related building elements.

You will use 2D drafting and BIM tools (Revit) and may help organize design work for small projects, following project standards and sharing knowledge with teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• At least 1 year of Revit.
• At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and update structural drawings and models for data center projects.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions with engineers, designers and project teams.
• Produce clear, accurate construction documents and revisions.
• Support project coordination and quality reviews per project standards.
