Amentum in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Structural Designer to support design, BIM modeling, and construction documentation for steel, concrete, and masonry structures. The role offers in-office or remote work with a strong Oak Ridge preference and quarterly travel for remote staff.

Candidates should have 5–15 years in industrial, commercial, or nuclear projects, proficiency with Revit or Tekla, and solid knowledge of design codes. U.S.

Qualificações

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location
• 5-15 years of industrial, commercial, and/or nuclear projects experience
• Ability to follow and implement established quality procedures and ensure that all work accomplished is procedurally compliant
• Competence using Microsoft Office software
• Ability to learn new software as necessary for project success
• Comfort working in fast-paced environment where requirements may evolve throughout projects
• Experience using Revit and/or Tekla for BIM modeling and drawing production
• Working knowledge of industry design standards (AISC, ACI, IBC, etc.)
• Ability to resolve interdisciplinary model clashes at a basic level
• Experience in detailing steel and concrete drawings
