Barry-Wehmiller Design Group in the United States seeks a Senior Structural Designer to join our team. You will collaborate with licensed engineers to develop complete structural design documents and build 3D BIM models for industrial facilities using Revit (LOD-300) and AutoCAD.

You will lead BIM coordination, contribute to drafting standards, perform field surveys, and mentor staff while delivering high-quality solutions for diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Ten years of structural designer experience in industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in 3D BIM software (Revit, Navisworks) and AutoCAD.
• Experience with food/beverage, pharma/life sciences, or consumer products industries preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Create and assemble structural design documents with licensed engineers.
• Develop 3D BIM models of facilities using Revit (LOD-300).
• Produce construction drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Help develop BIM drafting standards and update templates.
• Conduct field surveys to inform existing BIM models.
• Lead in BIM coordination meetings and clash detection.
• Mentor staff and share best practices across offices.
• Support in design reviews and client presentations.
