Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Structural Design & Analysis (SDA) Manager to lead and develop a team of engineers responsible for the structural integrity of pressure boundary components and reactor vessel internal components, including ASME Section III stress and fatigue and Section XI flaw evaluations. This position is located in Windsor, CT with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, materials, nuclear, or related field).
• 8+ years of experience in nuclear plant engineering.
• Experience as a people manager or team lead with responsibility for performance management and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, including performance management, career development, and hiring.
• Build a collaborative team culture that emphasises technical carefulness, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
• Oversee work planning, prioritisation, and resource management across inspection support and ageing management projects.
• Ensure, high-quality delivery of engineering work products with internal quality processes and industry standards.
