You will report to the Director of Reactor Component Engineering in a hybrid work setting and collaborate with systems, manufacturing and component teams to ensure safe, quality results within schedule.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• Proficiency in ANSYS Workbench and familiarity with ANSYS Mechanical (APDL).

Responsibilities

• Accomplish design and analysis plans from preliminary through final design using performance and structural requirements.
• Qualify component designs using ANSYS-based thermal and structural FEA and internal codes.
• Collaborate with systems, manufacturing and component teams to ensure integration and resolve issues.
• Deliver high-quality engineering work that meets safety, quality and schedule expectations.
