H&H is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Rail & Transit Group in Boston, MA. You will lead the design of fixed and movable bridges, perform bridge inspections, and contribute to a growing practice.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• PE License required (MA preferred).
• Minimum eight years of Structural Engineering experience with focus on bridge design (rail experience preferred).
• Experience with conceptual, preliminary and final design of structural projects.
• Experience with current FEM modeling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Structural Engineer on major projects.
• Prepare detailed plans and construction documents.
• Perform structural design calculations and analysis.
• Develop technical specifications and contract bid documents.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Lead site visits for condition inspections.
• Coordinate across disciplines and work in a team environment.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
