Job summary

LJB Inc. seeks an experienced Structural Bridge Engineer – Project Manager to support and grow our Transportation Practice in our Raleigh, North Carolina office.

This role focuses on leading bridge projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and serving as the primary client contact to ensure successful project delivery. The candidate will manage scope, schedule, and budget, collaborate with sub-consultants, and support business development with clients and DOT partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• P.E. license is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in consulting or engineering.
• Experience working with DOTs.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, fees, and profitability of individual projects and project portfolios.
• Serve as point person with clients and act as project manager.
• Assist in new sales with clients for which you are managing projects.
• Coordinate internal transportation disciplines with sub‑consultants and clients.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across transportation disciplines.
