Job summary

Artheon, a New Jersey–based multidisciplinary consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Structural Bridge Engineer to lead the design and delivery of bridges and related transportation structures in the Berlin, NJ area. You will oversee analysis, plan production, QA/QC, and coordinate with highway, traffic, geotechnical and subconsultant teams.

Ideal candidate has 12+ years of bridge/transportation experience, a NJ P.E.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering (M.S. preferred).
• P.E. license (NJ required or eligible within 6 months).
• 12+ years of progressive bridge/transportation structural experience.
• Proficiency with LRFD methodologies and listed software tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and delivery of bridges, walls, and related transport structures.
• Oversee analysis, plan production, QA/QC, and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate with highway, traffic, geotechnical, and water resources teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and lead technical reviews.
• Perform field visits and interface with clients and review agencies.
• Ensure compliance with AASHTO, NJDOT and NJTA standards.
