Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Analyst to own the structural lifecycle of SRM components, from sizing and material characterization to coupled load modeling and test support.

The role requires 4+ years in aerospace structural analysis, strong FEA tool proficiency, and experience with composites and metallic pressure vessels, with ITAR/EAR compliance and potential security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or closely related field.
• 4+ years in structural analysis, FEA, or aerospace structural engineering.
• Experience with composite materials stress analysis and metal pressure vessels.
• Proficiency in advanced FEA tools and regression to test data.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural sizing, margins of safety, and strength evaluations for SRM components.
• Develop and maintain 2D/3D FEMs using Abaqus/ANSYS/Nastran/Patran/HyperMesh.
• Perform linear/non-linear static, dynamic, modal, and fatigue analyses.
• Correlate analytical predictions with test data and lead root-cause investigations.
