Job summary

Mavensoft Technologies, LLC is seeking a Sr. Structural Analyst for an aerospace launch vehicle program in Kent, WA. The role focuses on strength analysis of primary and secondary structures and ownership from concept to launch.

The position is onsite and aligned with a 6-month W2 contract, requiring the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams. You will perform sizing, analysis, testing, and qualification of structural subsystems, coordinating with manufacturing to ensure seamless

Qualifications

B.S. degree in engineering with 6+ years in aircraft/spacecraft structures.
US citizen or eligible to work in the US.
Experience with vehicle load path distribution and primary/secondary structures.
Proficient with CAD/FEA tools (Creo/Windchill, Ansys, Nastran, OptiStruct).
Ability to own hardware lifecycle from concept through integration.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own the full hardware lifecycle from requirements to integration.
Analyze and test primary/secondary metallic and composite structures.
Perform hand calculations and FEM analyses to report margins of safety.
Document stress analyses to support drawings and documents.
Lead trade studies, concept development, and risk vs. cost vs. performance guidance.
Build system and detail models for structural design.
Lead structural test planning, data reduction, and report writing.
Prepare technical content and present findings to customers.
Collaborate with internal and external teams across design, manufacturing, and mission integration.
