Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Structural Analysis Manager to lead highly technical teams across development and production programs. You will plan analyses, build a strong mechanical survivability bench, and guide projects from concept through testing while driving innovation in hostile environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration, growth of analysts, and delivering timely technical reports. A background in mechanical engineering and experience with FE models, materials, and clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degres in Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineering, Structural Enginering, Physics, Mathematics and/or another applied physical science type major
• Experience working on structural modeling and siimulations to capture dynamic response using software such as LS Dyna, Abaqus,or similar Finite Element modeling tools
• Experience working with material properties
• Abillity to code in Matlab or silmilar software
• Ability/willingness to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship Required

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with multiple programs and their stakeholders to understand their analysis needs and deliveryables
• Ensure the Mechanical Survivability team has the support needed to be successful analysts
• Help grow individual employees so they can thrive in their career
• Plan out analysis efforts with realistic timelines and set project priorities
• Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, review analysis and reports, flow company information to the team.
• Be part of a team of flight sciences management who provide leadership while fostering collaboration and support across disciplines
