Qualifications

• Experience in structural dynamics
• Practical and applied vibration testing and analysis
• Familiarity with FEA tools (NASTRAN, NX, Abaqus)
• Knowledge of structural analysis principles and hand calculations
• Exposure to product development analysis
• Willingness to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Perform structural dynamic analyses for missile and spacecraft hardware
• Provide technical guidance on structural analysis and test planning
• Produce and maintain models simulating loads and deployment events
• Conduct loads development, shock and vibration environment determinations and testing
• Prepare test plans, execute tests and generate post-test reports
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on design trades and maintenance assessments
• Support dynamic test definitions, data reduction and comparis ons to analyses
• Present analysis data to engineering teams and customer reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and cross-train teammates
• Plan tasks and manage budgets/schedules to reduce cost and cycle time
