Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) invites an Experienced Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Mesa, AZ team. You will develop structural requirements, guide design, perform FEA with tools like Hypermesh/AST, and document verification across the lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering, a BS in engineering, and active U.S. security clearance. Relocation assistance is available with a first-shift schedule and competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials).
• 5+ years' related work experience or equivalent.
• Experience stress analyzing composite structures, laminates or bonded assemblies.
• 3+ years' experience with finite element modeling tools (Hypermesh, MSC Nastran/PATRAN, ABAQUS, Stress Check).
• Experience with manufacturing/production systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design.
• Coordinate with engineering groups to establish the product environment.
• Guide design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods and FEA throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop test plans, support test execution and analyze results to verify requirements.
