Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks an Experienced Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Air Vehicle Engineering team in Oklahoma City, OK. You will develop, validate, and document structural requirements for airframes using classical methods and FEM tools. The role requires coordination with other teams and duties across the product lifecycle.

Candidates should have a BS in Engineering, 5+ years in structural analysis, and experience with FEM (Hypermesh/Abaqus/Nastran). U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials).
Experience in classical methods of structural analysis.
Experience with Finite Element Models (FEM).
Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
Ability to independently construct, execute, review, and manage structural finite element models.
Must be able to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance.
5+ years of experience in structural analysis.

Responsibilities

Develops, integrates, and documents structural requirements to validate airframe stress design and FEM loadcase assessment.
Verifies structural integrity by defining requirements for development of analytical methods, FEM models/simulations and other analysis tools.
Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
Guides product design and verifies structural integrity using analytical methods and FEM throughout the lifecycle.
Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes results.
