Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Berkeley, MO seeks an Experienced or Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to advance complex aircraft development programs. The role focuses on establishing structural design, validating integrity with FEM tools, and coordinating across engineering teams from concept to certification.

The candidate will work with aerospace stress/structural analysis, manage test plans, and ensure requirements are met for customers and regulators.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Aerospace/Materials) is required.
• 5+ years of related work experience for Level 3 or 9+ years for Level 4.
• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance required (SAP experience preferred).
• Experience with FEM tools (NASTRAN, PATRAN) and aerospace/structural analysis expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design.
• Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods and FEM, across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with other engineering groups to define the product environment.
• Develop test plans, support test execution and analyze results to verify requirements.
