Job summary

ED Wallach Search Group seeks a Staff Solutions Architect to lead the technical design behind government and defense partnerships, turning stratospheric endurance into actionable ISR capabilities.

You will work with DoD stakeholders to define mission architectures, translate requirements into payload specs, and position our balloons against traditional satellites in contested environments; travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of job experience preferred, with 4+ years as a technical or business leader.
• Strong background in commercial data sales and market strategy.
• Experience with ISR platforms and government collaborations.

Responsibilities

• Design ISR missions with DoD and government stakeholders.
• Translate mission needs into technical payload specs and flight profiles.
• Position platforms against satellites and UAS in contested environments.
• Lead technical deep-dives with government program managers.
• Develop CONOPS for stratospheric assets in ISR/SIGINT contexts.
