Murphy Oil Corporation in Houston seeks a Sr Staff Strategy & Portfolio Management Specialist to support strategic planning, economics and financial modeling for executive leadership. The role is based in the Houston office with up to two remote days per week as business needs allow.

Responsibilities include analyzing project economics, optimizing the portfolio, and preparing scenarios and pro-forma cash flows with key KPIs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Planning.
• Experience in economic/financial modeling for the oil and gas industry preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to summarize complex analyses for leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Supports strategic planning, economics, financial modeling and ad-hoc analyses for executive leadership.
• Review and analyze project economics and the Long-Range Plan (LRP).
• Translate scenarios into pro-forma statements and KPIs; support peer analysis and benchmarking.
• Prepare analyses for leadership and board meetings; leverage third-party data to enhance deliverables.
