Job summary

Murphy Oil Corporation is seeking a Sr IT Infrastructure Administrator to implement, operate, and continuously improve our hybrid infrastructure across on‑premises data centers and Azure cloud. You will maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft 365 services while enabling virtualization, storage, backup, and networking capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure administration and related operations roles.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on systems administration experience.
• Experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and enterprise file services.
• Experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure services and hybrid integrations.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 services and identity integration with AD and Azure Entra ID.
• Experience operating virtualized environments, enterprise storage, backup, and datacenter infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring, patching, lifecycle management, incident response, and operational support processes.
• Experience developing automation with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Experience creating documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Experience delivering infrastructure implementations, migrations, upgrades, or modernization initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to participate in infrastructure on‑call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on expertise across Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, virtualization, storage, backup, networking, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
• Deploy, manage, and support Azure infrastructure services and hybrid integrations.
• Administer Identity/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and related enterprise identity services.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using scripting languages and IaC workflows.
• Contribute to project delivery from planning through implementation and operational transition.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, application, vendor, and business teams to deliver solutions.
