Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 to 8 years of work experience, with a minimum of 5 years of strategy consulting experience.
• Led cross‑functional workstreams on high‑stakes strategy initiatives, driving alignment with executive objectives, ensuring rigorous execution against timelines, and delivering actionable, high‑impact outcomes.
• Excellent ability to structure complex problems.
• Exceptional research, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new subjects quickly.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality analysis and supported points of view.
• Crisp ability to convey complex ideas in written form (e.g., memos, slide presentations).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Break down complex problems and structure and scope related projects.
• Conduct primary and secondary research and perform rigorous data analysis.
• Create strategic frameworks and financial models (on par with leading consulting firms).
• Develop presentations to clearly communicate problem space, analysis, and insights.
• Support creation of CEO and Board of Directors level communication.
• Stay current on market, regulatory, and technology trends relevant to Vertex.
