Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Sr. Strategy Engineer to guide strategic wafer loading decisions, capacity planning, and scenario analysis across global development fabs.

You will apply industrial engineering principles and advanced analytics to support executive decisions. Ideal candidates will lead cross-functional initiatives, develop AI-enabled analytics, and deliver actionable insights to improve forecast accuracy and planning efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• Experience in data analysis, project management, and cross-department collaboration.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and data-visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI); SQL & Python knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic wafer loading, capacity planning, and scenario analysis across global Technology Development sites.
• Partner with TD engineering to ensure collaborators are linked into plan and timelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Process Integration, and Finance to align plans and priorities.
• Develop and implement AI-enabled analytics, forecasting models, and planning solutions.
• Lead quarterly business planning processes and coordinate timelines and cross-functional engagement.
• Analyze fab performance, traveler movement, wafer starts, yield, and capacity metrics to provide leadership-ready recommendations.
• Build automated reporting, dashboards, and data visualizations for executive decision-making.
