Job summary

Liminal is seeking a seasoned management consultant to run 1–2 engagements at a time, overseeing work plans, teams, timelines, quality, and client deliverables. You’ll work with a senior sponsor and practice leader to ensure rigorous scoping and high-impact results.

You’ll lead workshops, war games, and executive sessions, build compelling stories, and shape the engagement design. Hybrid office model and direct client interaction are core to the role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in management/strategy consulting with delivery ownership.
• Experience leading engagements end-to-end and managing client relationships.
• Ability to facilitate rooms with executives toward decisions.
• Experience staffing, coaching, and giving feedback.
• Experience with AI tools and building workflows.
• Interest in markets: identity, fraud, financial crime, cybersecurity, and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workplan, staffing, timeline, quality and recommendations.
• Lead a team of 2–4 and provide real-time coaching.
• Define the storyline and evidence; build the engagement narrative.
• Direct client sessions and manage day-to-day interactions.
• Lead workshops, war games, and strategy sessions with senior leaders.
• Design engagements when templates don’t fit; create approaches.
• Scope extensions and new phases; write statements of work; ensure profitability.
• Coordinate with platform teams to access research, data science, and Analyst Desk.
