Job summary

Liminal Strategy is seeking a motivated consultant to take ownership of complete workstreams, guiding them from the initial question through to the final answer. You will mentor Associates and present findings directly to clients with senior sponsor support, handling complex tasks with limited supervision.

In this role you’ll be a primary client contact between meetings, adapt analyses to client needs, and identify follow-on opportunities.

Qualifications

• Four+ years in management/strategy consulting or related field with at least one role that managed a workstream and made recommendations.
• Able to present answers in meetings, not just take notes.
• Turn unclear briefs into a clear plan quickly, usually within a day.
• Comfortable leading junior colleagues and helping them improve.
• Genuine interest in identity, fraud, financial crime, cybersecurity and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a workstream from start to finish: define the question, select method, perform analysis, draft the answer, defend conclusions.
• Oversee one or two Associates, set approach, review output, coach improvement.
• Own a section of client deliverables with recommendations and supporting evidence.
• Handle advanced tasks like war game rounds, buyer interview programs, and diligence workstreams with light supervision.
• Be main client contact between meetings, answer questions, manage expectations, keep project moving.
