Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Senior Consultant to join a newly formed Strategic Advisory team. You will work with Enterprise and Business Segment Leaders to advise on high-impact initiatives, facilitate decision making, develop options, and conduct scenario analysis.

You will collaborate with executives, lead strategy workshops, perform rigorous analyses, and communicate findings. The role emphasizes qualitative and quantitative thinking, and cross-functional coordination across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, with a preference for core strategy and/or analytical work at top Strategy Consulting Firms or Financial Services.
• Wealth Management experience with familiarity of WM business segments and Practice Management.
• Ability to drive independent workstreams and contribute to multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership and provide consultative support to determine and implement strategic steps.
• Lead strategy workshops with stakeholders across the firm and build trust-based relationships.
• Conduct analyses of high-impact strategic issues, coordinate cross-functional teams, and present findings to executives.
• Communicate effectively with senior leaders through presentations, meetings, and written briefings.
• Track industry trends and develop business outlooks and forecasts where applicable.
• Manage multiple projects to ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
