Job summary

Amazon in Austin, Texas is seeking an AVS Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic planning, execution, and optimization of supply chain operations. You will manage high-impact projects, collaborate with Retail, Supply Chain and Vendors, and influence cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and drive growth.

The role requires strong data analysis, process improvement, and hands-on operations or inventory management experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of with Excel experience
• 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
• Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience

Responsibilities

• Identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around demand and production planning
• Monitoring, analyzing and owning Vendor Key Performance Indicators such as: Out of Stock rate, Total Inbound lead time, confirmation rates, including presenting insights, themes and trends to Senior Leadership team.
• Strategically analyzing production and delivery lead-times, while optimizing operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations, efficient receive processes, and inventory placement.
• Spearheading initiatives to enhance cost structure and profitability, collaborating closely with partner teams to ensure successful execution.
