Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, or supply chain in regulated/manufacturing environments.
• Strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supplier development, onboarding, scorecards, and corrective actions.
• Conduct BOM audits to identify single-source risk and drive second-source qualification.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new and alternative suppliers with structured comparisons.
• Negotiate vendor contracts for favorable terms and long-term value.
• Maintain supplier performance management and escalation triggers.
• Lead supplier-facing projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Plan supplier ramp-up/down with Sr. Buyers and support product line transfers.
• Collaborate with Engineering on vendor requirements and DFM reviews.
• Ensure regulatory, quality, and QMS/ISO standards in supplier qualification.
• Represent procurement in vendor audits and manage supplier substitutions as needed.
• Monitor supply risk and provide data-backed recommendations to management.
• Travel for on-site supplier evaluations and continuous process improvement.
• Contribute to improvements in sourcing processes and tools.
