Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 6+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or project supply chain for engineered equipment/energy infrastructure.
• Experience managing full sourcing and contracting lifecycle for complex engineered-to-order equipment.
• Working knowledge of supplier qualification, competitive bidding, contract negotiation, cost analysis, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to interpret technical specs, BOMs, data sheets, drawings, proposals, and project schedules.
• Strong commercial judgment, analytical capability, negotiation skills, and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to influence suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting.
• Ability to travel to supplier, fabrication, and project locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project and category sourcing strategies for gas skids, metering and regulation stations, packaged systems, and associated third-party equipment.
• Lead the full sourcing lifecycle from market analysis to supplier closeout, including RFIs, RFQs, bid evaluation, and contract placement.
• Collaborate with the Center of Excellence to leverage enterprise agreements, preferred suppliers, and category strategies.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with skid fabricators, equipment manufacturers, integrators, and service providers.
• Align demand, engineering releases, supplier capacity, lead times, and logistics with project milestones.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, liquidated damages, change orders, IP protections, and other commercial terms.
• Assess supplier health, capacity, technical capability, quality systems, and geographic footprint; develop mitigation plans.
• Define supplier performance expectations and manage scorecards for quality, on-time delivery, cost, and safety.
• Coordinate supplier execution through design reviews, fabrication, testing, shipment, and commissioning.
• Lead supplier issue resolution, recovery planning, and corrective actions to protect schedule and margin.
• Drive value engineering, standardization, and should-cost analysis without compromising safety or compliance.
• Maintain accurate sourcing plans, forecasts, risk registers, and executive updates.
