Job summary

Honda is seeking a Procurement Senior Specialist to execute strategic sourcing, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost reductions. You will lead RFIs/RFPs, conduct market research, and ensure contract compliance while collaborating with internal partners to deliver category strategies.

The role is hybrid with on-site presence as needed and may require up to 25% travel across North America. A strong background in procurement and ERP systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement or related field.
• Familiarity with SAP/Ariba or major ERP systems; strong negotiation and contract understanding.

Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing events (RFIs/RFPs) and supplier selection per category strategies.
• Conduct market research to identify sourcing opportunities and supplier trends.
• Support cost analysis and spend reporting; communicate Total Cost of Ownership to stakeholders.
• Manage supplier onboarding, risk management, and contract compliance.
• Meet category SEQCDM targets; monitor progress and implement countermeasures.
• Lead process improvement and execute business plans; engage stakeholders across the organization.
• Build and maintain productive relationships to achieve category strategies.
