Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking a Senior Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities for the U.S. business units, with primary focus at the Raritan, NJ site.

You will ensure timely purchasing, supplier onboarding, contract workflow, and compliance with company policies. The role requires collaboration with Finance, Accounts Payable, and stakeholders to optimize spend, maintain supplier records in SAP, and monitor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–4 years of sourcing/procurement experience.
• Experience in regulated GMP/pharma/biotech manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP/S/4 HANA transactions and PR/PO lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing, vendor selection, benchmarking to optimize price while balancing quality and supply.
• Support business units in defining requirements and monitor supplier execution against scopes of work and purchase orders.
• Handle purchasing operations: requisitions, orders, open orders, and vendor documentation.
• Maintain supplier records, onboarding, due diligence, and master data in SAP.
• Review contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance and AP to resolve procurement issues and improve processes.
• Contribute to spend analysis, procurement reports, and SOPs.
• Work independently and escalate for approvals as needed.
