Job summary

PNC is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Senior Specialist to support its Supply Chain organization. Based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH or Birmingham, AL, the role requires time in office with some remote work at the manager's discretion.

You will manage RFx events, negotiate with suppliers, and develop category strategies while coordinating with Risk, Fraud, and Business Resilience teams. Strong communication and ERP/S2P experience are important.

Qualifications

• University degree required; 3+ years of relevant industry experience; certifications often desired.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certifications and experience may be considered.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFx events from ideation through contract execution.
• Research, evaluate, negotiate, and select suppliers for high-quality, cost-effective goods and services.
• Prepare supplier strategies, deal strategies, financial analyses and category strategies in support of Strategic Sourcing.
• Interface with internal stakeholders to interpret needs and determine specifications.
• Support risk management and supplier performance initiatives across Supply Chain.
