Athens Services is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager who will lead category strategy, sourcing, negotiations and contracting across multiple spend areas, reporting to a Senior Manager of Procurement. You will drive cost savings and supplier performance improvements in support of the Procurement Transformation.

This role partners with Operations, Fleet, IT, HR, Legal and Finance, managing high-value initiatives with independence and strategic vision, guiding RFPs and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or category management.
• Proven experience leading supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement or ERP systems.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute multi-year strategic sourcing plans for assigned spend categories.
• Conduct market analysis and supplier benchmarking to identify cost savings opportunities, discover and recruit new suppliers, and extract innovative ideas from the supply base.
• Lead competitive sourcing processes including RFPs, supplier negotiations, award decision making, contracting, and purchasing.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance metrics.
• Negotiate pricing, service levels, and contract terms with key vendors.
• Ensure supplier performance aligns with company expectations for quality, service, and cost.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into sourcing strategies.
• Quarterback Joint RFP teams to lead cross-functional decision making and spend implementation.
• Support company-wide procurement initiatives and policy development.
• Ensure sourcing activities align with procurement policies and compliance requirements.
• Utilize procurement analytics and reporting tools to monitor category performance and savings.
• Support implementation of Source-to-Pay processes and procurement technology.
