Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Professional Services Sourcing Specialist in New York, NY to lead and manage RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes, negotiate commercial terms, and develop strategic sourcing with internal partners. The role focuses on spend analysis, cost savings, supplier evaluation, and contract management, with responsibilities for savings tracking and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in professional services sourcing or related procurement.
• Heads-on experience with SOW, contracts, T&M, or outsourced managed services.
• Experience managing RFP/RFI/RFQ processes and supplier negotiations.
• Proven track record delivering cost savings or avoidance.
• Strong spend analysis, financial modeling, and reporting skills.
• Ability to influence purchasing decisions with internal stakeholders.
• Experience with Ariba, Fieldglass, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Business Objects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes with requirements development and supplier evaluation.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with professional services suppliers.
• Analyze spend, pricing, market trends, and supplier data to identify savings.
• Develop and implement cost reduction and avoidance strategies.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies.
• Manage sourcing pipelines, savings tracking, and contract management.
• Review processes and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Prepare and present sourcing strategies and recommendations to leadership.
