Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Senior Consultant, Category Management to identify cost and quality opportunities across mid-level complex categories, develop supplier agreements, and drive value through strategic sourcing practices.

You will own assigned spend categories, collaborate with internal customers and Category Managers, and lead data-driven negotiations to maximize contract value and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3-6 years of progressive RFx, sourcing, negotiating and contracting experience.
• Master’s Degree may be acceptable with 3 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Category Managers strategies and opportunity assessments for specific categories.
• Recommend sourcing plans to Category Manager for assigned spend categories addressing cost drivers using contracting, competitive bidding, value analysis and financial analysis to meet cost savings targets.
• Analyze service usage patterns to identify waste and reduce usage for cost savings.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal clients to improve integrated processes.
• Lead cross‑functional sourcing initiatives with market and competitive analysis to secure best value for services.
• Ensure contracts are up-to-date and compliant.
