Join a forward-thinking technology organization where strategic initiatives drive business growth, operational excellence, and customer success. As a Senior Strategic Program Manager, you will lead complex, enterprise-wide programs that bring together multiple teams and align organizational priorities with measurable business outcomes. Working closely with executive leadership, you will translate strategic objectives into actionable execution plans, establish effective governance, and navigate competing priorities. You will anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and guide teams through organizational change to ensure critical initiatives stay on track. Beyond delivering individual programs, you will help strengthen how the organization plans, collaborates, and executes its most important initiatives. This remote opportunity is ideal for a strategic leader who combines executive influence, sound judgment, and disciplined execution to create lasting business value.

Accountabilities
  • Strategic Program Leadership: Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from initial planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with business strategy, organizational priorities, and long-term growth objectives.
  • Executive Partnership: Collaborate with senior leaders to define program objectives, establish governance structures, evaluate strategic trade-offs, and develop execution plans that balance business value, organizational capacity, and risk.
  • Program Planning and Coordination: Develop integrated execution strategies that coordinate workstreams, milestones, resource requirements, dependencies, and executive decision points across complex initiatives.
  • Governance and Decision-Making: Facilitate executive steering committees, governance meetings, and strategic planning discussions to promote accountability, transparency, and timely, well-informed decisions.
  • Risk and Dependency Management: Proactively identify organizational risks, resource constraints, competing priorities, and cross-functional dependencies, developing practical mitigation strategies before they affect delivery.
  • Organizational Change Management: Support business leaders in preparing teams for change, facilitating the adoption of new processes and operating models, and sustaining improvements throughout strategic transformations.
  • Program Standards and Best Practices: Establish, implement, and continuously improve program governance frameworks, delivery standards, and execution methodologies to strengthen organizational effectiveness.
  • Performance and Benefits Realization: Define success measures, monitor program outcomes, evaluate benefits realization, and assess the business impact of strategic investments to ensure initiatives deliver meaningful results.
  • Stakeholder Influence and Development: Coach and mentor program teams and business leaders, promote effective program management practices, and build alignment across stakeholders without relying on direct reporting authority.
  • Executive Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by providing clear analysis, practical recommendations, and structured approaches to complex business challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve enterprise planning, portfolio coordination, operational processes, and cross-functional collaboration to support sustainable growth and scalability.
Requirements
  • Relevant Professional Experience: Extensive experience leading enterprise programs, strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, or complex cross-functional projects within a technology-driven or similarly dynamic business environment.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Demonstrated ability to translate high-level business objectives into structured execution plans, coordinate multiple workstreams, and deliver measurable organizational outcomes.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives, influence decisions, facilitate difficult conversations, and align stakeholders around shared goals.
  • Program Governance: Experience developing or improving governance frameworks, delivery standards, accountability structures, and decision-making processes for complex initiatives.
  • Risk and Dependency Management: Strong capabilities in identifying emerging risks, managing organizational dependencies, evaluating trade-offs, and developing solutions to execution challenges.
  • Organizational Change: Experience guiding teams through business transformation, process improvements, operating model changes, or other enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong judgment and critical thinking, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, assess complex situations, connect business priorities, and make practical recommendations.
  • Communication and Facilitation: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience facilitating executive discussions, steering committees, and cross-functional planning sessions.
  • Leadership Without Direct Authority: Ability to influence and motivate teams across organizational boundaries, encourage collaboration, and build shared accountability without formal management control.
  • Results Orientation: A strong focus on measurable business impact, disciplined follow-through, continuous improvement, and the delivery of sustainable organizational value.
  • Adaptability and Strategic Perspective: Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with day-to-day execution, manage competing priorities, and help leaders make informed decisions in complex environments.
  • Preferred Transformation Experience: Experience leading enterprise transformation, acquisition integration, operational excellence, or other large-scale business improvement initiatives is an advantage.
  • Portfolio Management: Familiarity with enterprise portfolio management, strategic planning, executive operating cadences, and organizational performance frameworks is preferred.
  • Delivery Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile, hybrid delivery approaches, or other structured program management methodologies is beneficial.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with managed services, cloud infrastructure, enterprise technology, or cybersecurity environments is an asset.
  • Professional Certifications: PMP, PgMP, Prosci, Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable professional certifications are desirable.
  • Professional Values: A commitment to collaboration, curiosity, customer focus, employee empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborative Work Culture: A low-ego, outcomes-focused environment that values teamwork, curiosity, accountability, and practical problem-solving.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunities to influence executive decisions, lead high-impact initiatives, and strengthen strategic leadership and program management capabilities.
