Join to apply for the Senior Strategic Finance Manager role at Tanium.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance, to serve as a key finance partner to the Go-To-Market and Product teams. The role involves providing top-tier financial modeling, analysis, and insights to support data-driven decisions and help achieve the company's multi-year financial goals.

This position offers a significant impact opportunity, influencing executive-level decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Sales, Marketing, or Product Development teams, with strong financial modeling and analysis skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with senior leaders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring in-person presence several days a week in one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

Responsibilities include:

• Building relationships with stakeholders across Sales and R&D to identify growth opportunities and optimize investments.
• Preparing business analyses and models for executive leadership.
• Enhancing management reporting to support decision-making.
• Understanding Tanium’s go-to-market strategies and translating them into operational metrics.
• Conducting product analyses to inform strategy and communicate insights to executives.
• Creating content for executive reviews and presentations.
• Driving improvements in financial processes, tools, and models.
• Thriving in high-growth and ambiguous environments.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years in strategic/corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, or at a high-growth tech company.
• Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, or R&D, preferably in SaaS or subscription models.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and data visualization skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with PowerBI or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance; experience in Investment Banking or Consulting preferred.
